The solution provided by Forwardis is a door-to-door solution from Porto to Moursmank, thanks to the combination of two modes: rail and road. This combination of the two modes has allowed to efficiently overcome the problem of load break caused by the different track gauges. Forwardis was able to be a force of proposal in the accompaniment and the advice on the choice of wagons and service providers.
A website wireframe, also known as a page schematic or screen blueprint, is a visual guide that represents the skeletal framework of a website. Wireframes are created for the purpose of arranging elements to best accomplish a particular purpose.
- Road mode: from the shipper’s premises to the railway platform in Irun (Spain, at the French-Spanish border)
- Rail mode: from Irun (Spain) to Piteå (Sweden) where the track gauge is the same.
- Road mode: the goods are again transited on the road mode to finish its journey to the consignee, in Murmansk
Forwardis has also been able to provide wagons adapted to the transport of wire rope pallets. Forwardis has been able to be a force of proposal on the chosen material, namely HABINS wagons.
Forwardis’ service includes routing and maintenance, which reinforces the feeling of “one-stop shopping”.
