FORWARDIS, part of Rail Logistics Europe, has joined the RDF Group, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable logistics and the development of circular economy solutions.
As an European rail freight specialist, FORWARDIS brings extensive experience in cross-border rail operations, multimodal logistics and sustainable transport. The company is already actively involved in RDF rail flows between France and Scandinavia, supporting reliable and low-carbon supply chains across long distances.
By joining the RDF Industry Group, FORWARDIS aims to actively contribute its know-how to the development of efficient, reliable, and environmentally responsible supply chains for refuse-derived fuel (RDF) and other circular economy flows.
Rail transport plays a key role in reducing CO2 emissions and supporting the energy transition. From the end of 2026, Forwardis will further strengthen its European footprint by benefiting form an extensive and integrated rail network covering Sweden, Germany, the Benelux and Italy. Through this collaboration, FORWARDIS looks forward to working closely with industry partners to promote sustainable growth using rail within the RDF sector.
