Our colleagues Sven Le Gars and Remon Van't Veer attended IFAT Munich 2026, the world's leading trade fair for environmental technologies, held from the 4th of May until the 7th of May 2026 in Munich, Germany.
More than 3,200 exhibitors from over 60 countries came together to present innovations in water management, recycling and the circular economy. Among the many topics discussed, rail solutions attracted considerable attention.
As industries move towards more sustainable infrastructure, rail freight is becoming increasingly important for waste logistics. Transporting waste efficiently across borders, reducing road traffic and lowering carbon emissions are central to what we do at FORWARDIS.
With our European network set to expand, we are more conviced than ever that rail can play a key role in addressing tomorrow's environmental challenges.
And in 2027, we plan to take this commitment even further, with new routes, new partnerships and increased capacity to meet the growing demand for international, sustainable waste transportation.
Events like IFAT Munich are also valuable opportunities to exchange ideas, discover emerging technologies and strengthen connections with organisations working towards a more suistainable future.
Thank you to everyone our collegues had the pleasure of meeting during the event.
We looks forward to seeing you again!
