In April, we had the honour of welcoming David Treviño, Logistics Coordinator at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), and Carla Hohmann from MSF’s Corporate Donations team, for a webinar hosted as part of our Care & Act initiative. This session held special meaning, as it followed our recent donation to Médecins Sans Frontières in support of their vital global work.
With more than three decades of field experience across over 15 countries, David offered a rare and compelling look behind the scenes of humanitarian logistics. From managing supply chains in conflict zones to ensuring rapid response during natural disasters, he brought to life the critical role that logistics plays in saving lives.
For our teams, this exchange was far more than a webinar — it was a moment of reflection on the power and responsibility of our profession. It reminded us that logistics is not only a core business function, but also a key enabler of humanitarian action. The systems we build, the precision we strive for, and the agility we develop can make all the difference in a crisis situation.
By opening this dialogue with MSF, we reaffirm our commitment to a logistics that cares, acts, and contributes beyond borders. We thank David and Carla warmly for their time, their stories, and their dedication.
This session leaves us with a renewed sense of purpose — and a strong conviction that, together, we can move more than just goods. We can move hope.
