The usual route from Kazakhstan to Germany to transport yellow phosphorus had to be reworked

Due to the international context, the usual route from Kazakhstan to Germany - via Russia and Belarus - had to be reworked. 

We are pleased to announce that Forwardis has taken up the challenge of being the first railway company to transport dangerous goods via the Caspian Sea route. 

To do so, the containers left from Kazakhstan and passed through four ports: Port Aktau in Kazakhstan, Port Baku in Azerbaijan, Port Poti in Georgia and finally, Constanta in Romania. The journey ended in Duisburg, Germany. 

This historic route is a first in Europe for RID goods crossing the Caspian Sea.
